John Coffman joined The Freeman Agency in 2005 and is acting Partner of the firm. He brings more than 20 years of benefits experience to The Freeman Agency and specializes in group employee benefit programs, as well as both group and individual voluntary worksite benefits.

Prior to joining The Freeman Agency, John founded Coffman Benefit Services in Magnolia, Texas where he established a benefit communication and enrollment company targeting organizations with more than 10,000 empyloyees.

He has previously worked with schools, hospitals, municipalities and corporations with employees from 25 to 15,000. John has also installed cafeteria programs (section 125) since 1995, allowing his clients to enjoy the ease of accessing their flexible spending dollars via debit card access.

John has enjoyed working on both sides of the benefits market with both leading carriers and brokerage firms.
