Carter Freeman founded The Freeman Agency in 1997 with a passion to help people.
After spending many years within the benefits industry, Carter noticed a division between customer service and claims management. Striving to offer the best, Carter sought to create a business where both sectors were equally important. Thus, The Freeman Agency was born, offering the best customer service possible, along with a wide selection of employee benefit services in Group Health Insurance.
Carter graduated from the University of Arkansas, after which he began his career in health benefits as an underwriter and financial analyst. His expertise stems from more than 15 years in the industry.
Carter’s ongoing goals are to help clients manage their healthcare and benefit costs while remaining on the leading edge of plan design and wellness initiatives to keep employees healthy and claims low.
While continuing to grow The Freeman Agency, Carter continues to support the community by offering scholarship programs to local graduating seniors, as well as continually supporting local school projects and sports teams. He is also member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and the Houston Association of Health Underwriters.
Other organizations that Carter supports include: Big Brothers, Big Sisters; Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo; Wesley Academy; Leukemia Foundation; Center for Lost Children; Cypress Crusaders Select Baseball Team; and Alvin Independent School District Foundation.
In his personal time, Carter enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing guitar and watching college sports.
